Sports and Racism

Ok, I've lived long enough to know that complaining about racism in sports is boring. What's the point? The offended wants what, an unbiased environment? If it isn't attainable in other parts of our society what makes this arena so special that it warrants this distinction? The answer is it doesn't. And the laughable part is that sports by its elements is the biased of all worlds. Ironic isn't this?

The latest episode of "Waaa, waaaa, I've been offended" is from the Golf world. Tiger, the offended has forgotten about Kelly's slight. But Jim "Throw gas on the fire" Brown wants to perpetuate this. Why? Brown's Vanity and need to be heard. Pure and simple. Oh, oh, plus the stupid sports Media who wants to write about it as if it is worthy.

Try this one on, Mr. Brown, get your non-white athletes to contribute in a positive way with their mega millions salaries and, Media, write about that. Let's glorify their efforts if there are any to be glorified and noted.

Actors and sports figures and the Media that follows them have got to be expunged from our news channels, written and spoken, and replaced by noteworthy progress in real reduction of racism in this country.
